KEYNOTE ADDRESS - THE IMPACT OF TECHNOLOGY ON THE WORLD OF WORK
Developments in automation, robotics and AI will undoutedly transform the way we live and work. Studies show that many jobs are at risk of automation, but is the anxiety around its impact on work justified? What should organisations and people functions be doing now to prepare for the future? And what might be the wider societal consequences of a world with less work? We are excited to welcome Daniel Susskind – an economist, TED speaker and author on the impact of technology on work and jobs- to deliver our keynote address on these fascinating and pressing issues.
PANEL DISCUSSION - HARNESSING PEOPLE ANALYTICS
Our panel discussion will zero in on this increasingly prominent aspect of AI for HR professionals. The rise of big data and powerful analytics tools can provide HR with fresh opportunities to understand the workforce better and support organisational strategy. Which areas are of greatest value in harnessing people analytics in a progressively data-driven world of work? What are the potential organisational gains and pitfalls. We’re delighted that David Green - a leading speaker and consultant on people analytics, data-driven HR and the future of work (and former Global Director, People Analytics at IBM) - will be joining the panel with Sebastian Rudolf, Director, Global HR Delivery - Sales and Marketing at Cisco Systems and Vera Levitskaya, Founding Partner of Aspirant Analytics to share their thoughts and insights. Further speakers to be announced soon.
This event will be of interest to HR directors and senior HR professionals, business leaders, legal professionals and others with strategic people or policy-making roles.
