Since AEQUITAS establishment in 1993, she has been its Managing Partner. Ms. Chentsova has been advising major global oil and mining companies and leading local companies on issues pertaining to civil, corporate and environmental legislation, investment, subsoil use, litigation and arbitration for more than twenty years.
Yuliya G. Chumachenko

Yuliya Chumachenko is a Partner at AEQUITAS and specializes in labour, civil, contract, marriage and family, maritime, antimonopoly and investment law. Before joining AEQUITAS in 1997, she worked as a civil law counselor to a number of companies.
Ms. Chumachenko is a lead lawyer on labor and family law matters and possesses extensive expertise in the field of corporate and contract relations, construction and securing of obligations. She is also experienced in advising on maritime law matters, including registration and re-flagging of sea vessels, and has been continually representing companies in litigations/arbitrations.
Ms. Chumachenko is currently concentrating on contract and labor law issues, deal structuring and various matters related to the legal support of business in Kazakhstan. She is also supervising interaction with governmental agencies in the areas of her specialization.
